While researching the name “Isis” as a possible side character name (you never know what those might mean if you don’t check them out first), I found the patron saint of the internet, guardian of the keyboard, “St. Isidore, archbishop of Seville.”
Apparently, having an opera named after Seville’s barber wasn’t enough. According to the Online Etymology Dictionary, “St. Isidore, archbishop of Seville (600-636) wrote important historical and ecclesiastical works and in 2001 was named patron saint of computers, computer users, and the Internet.” *
He must be the overseer of all antivirus programs, assist in exorcisms, and occasionally moonlight in troubleshooting forums.
